  1. Hey Ginger!

Just got caught up on your blog. Sounds like everything is running fairly smoothly. I guess that is sort of relative. I just got home from my week long vacation with Blake. We did a lot while I was there so I am pretty tired especially from driving all that way by myself. We went to a Texas Rangers game which was a lot of fun. I haven't been to a professional baseball game in a while so it was neat to go to a big ballpark like that. The played the Chicago cubs but they lost which wasn't good. I got to see Ryan Theriot play. He plays for the Cubs but use to play for LSU. He scored the winning run when they won the national championship in 2000. From the baseball stadium you could see the new Dallas Cowboys stadium it was massive. All covered in glass too. We also went to six flags in Arlington. It was a lot a fun and we walked all over the park. There were a bunch of schools there too. How that is educational I will never know. Blake's birthday was on Thursday, so his parent's got him a bike. I got him chacos. We went for a bike ride in a neighboring town on a really nice trail. His parents also have nice bikes so they are just a bike riding family now. Blake thinks he is Lance Armstrong now. I got to go to work with Blake and sit in his office. I also went and showed a house with him. It was really cool to get to watch him at work. I think he really enjoys what he is doing. On Saturday I drove to Jackson to see Christopher play in the state soccer tournament for select. It was nice to be able to drive 6 hours instead of 10. I drove up right as Christopher was about to start his second game. They lost but they played a team that was ranked nationally so they were really really good. I stayed with mom and Christopher at the Cabot Lodge and we tried to go eat at a restaurant near the hotel but it wasn't very good. We brought back food for Christopher and he didn't like it either. He and I ended up going to get ice cream from Bop's. They had a drive thru window which was nice, but the guy at the window dropped all the change for the man in front of us. It was really funny Christopher and I were booing him from inside the car. When we pulled up to the window to order we were trying so hard not to laugh. When we got back Mom was already asleep. Mom and Christopher had to get up early cause he had a game at eight this morning, but I slept in. When they came back I was still asleep. I finally woke up then headed back to Gulfport. It is really nice to be back home even if it is for a little while. At the end of the week I have to head to Baton Rouge. I start school on th 7th. LSU won the SEC tournament for baseball today. I was really happy because we haven't been doing so well. We almost didn't make the tournament and ended up getting the last spot. We beat Florida who was number 1, Vanderbilt, and Ole Miss to get to the finals. In the final we beat Alabama. It was scary at the end because we had to go into extra innings before we ended up scoring one run in the top of the 11th to edge out Alabama. There were two rain delays in the game which made it last longer and made it more stressful to watch. I was late to dinner with my friends tonight because I was listening to the end of the game. Tomorrow is Memorial Day and I plan to take it easy. I need so rest after my trip. Good luck with everything, I'll keep you posted with everything that's going on in BR this summer. Hope everything goes well! Love you!
